I'm currently working on an avatar set/mod for the game Sins of a Solar Empire and here's the end result for the TEC race.

This'll get squished down to roughly 180 x 200 pixels so this version is the actual size I worked on in Photoshop.

Who said video games were bad for artists? :P

This is an excellent picture. I particularly like the contrast between the human and slightly chaotic machine elements. It makes it seem like, compared to the vast alien technological superiority of the Vasari and the telepathy/zealous militarism of the Advent, TEC personnel are struggling to catch up and are willing to engage in haphazard cybernetic enhancement to maintain parity with their foes. Really cool.

It's awesome that you are making new avatar sets for the game. I love the pictures they provided in the game but was disappointed there weren't many of them. Your artistic style will make the portraits in the mod integrate seamlessly. Great job!
